Yes, you can run it, but the results won't be pretty. That 6150 is right at the bottom of the requirements, as is your ram. If you put another 512 of ram in it and tweaked the .ini alot, you might be able to get it to a playable rate (but it will always likely be somewhat laggy).

Be sure to use driver version 84.21 rather than the latest drivers - Vanguard has issues with them and the 6150.

edit - moving this to the Nexus

Re: question?

I ran a Geforce 6150 for a short time in Beta before most of the graphics optimizations. It worked pretty well, and yes the 84.21 drivers are needed or else you get some pretty odd text overlay issues.

Did you have 512 megs of ram, though?

I had 1GB but 256MB was sucked up by the video (it was an onboard Video card).

Re: question?

I run on a laptop with this:

Pentium 4 - 2.8 ghz
512mb ram
ATI mobility radeon 9700

I run on the lowest settings possible, and with sound disabled (I gain a good amount of fps with sound disabled). It isn't pretty, it still isn't quite smooth but it is playable for the time being, until I can afford some more ram.

Re: question?

Hi Groobster,

I have a similar setup as yours.
My laptop is a
AMD Sempron 3300+ (about 2ghz)
512 MB ram (another 512 coming up this weekend)
ATI mobility Radeon X700 Pci Express / 128 MB dedicated Ram
80GB HD

Although I havent tested it out, i think it will be playable with some extra Ram. At least I hope it will

I think I have a friend with your same model laptop, and he's running 20-25fps on high performance outside of towns. The only difference is that we added half a gig of ram.
