Crashes?
i thaught this was a good place to ask this...
my question is, does any1 know why every once and a while (ever 3 or 4 ish bootups) while vanguard is loading, after i sign in, it freezes, and when i Ctr+alt+Delete and cancel program, it does nothing, if i try and log off it freezes and if i try and reboot it does nothing... the only way i can do anything is force shutdown on my compu which i hate doing... is there something wrong with my compu? or is this something that other people are experiancing and i should report?

Also, try deleting your "caches" folder (\\sony\vanguard\bin caches) before loading the game.

Re: Crashes?
well actually i think i figured out that i have a virus... cause every time i try and shutdown or reboot my computer... there is this application called CCAPP.EXE that always has to shut down, and after i tell it to shut down thats when the freeze happens and i ahve to force the compu off... sound familiar?

The best fix for this is to not use Norton AV. Almost anything (except McAfee) is better.

Norton is a very intrusive program and removing it completely can be quite a task. Still, a standard installation with a manual delete of the offending file should solve this issue. That doesn't mean it won't bring more, however. I strongly recommend you not go without antivirus, though. The home version of Avast AV is pretty decent (especially for the price), and free.
