There is some type of support because whenever you start the game it flashes the vanguard logo then goes back to normal.

If you look into the client folders you will also see files that support a compass, group stats, personal stats, etc. Third party UI mods have also started to make an appearance.

I know it does throw a compass on there....how useful is it? probably not very if you use the in game one, but guess it could help if you wanted to take the compass off your UI for more room

I know it's early in VG's young life, but I would have to say that Drox's UI is the best EVER! The G15 support is phenomenal and the interface is clean, minimalist and informative. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it!

They build the interface to support mods and have active devs that help give the community tools to build them.

They're peachy-keen so long as they don't progress into hacks.

Well they had a UI Customization section on the Official Beta Forums. So I would say they are cool with it.

They have always stated that they expect the UI to modded by the user, they have given you the tools in the form of XML code to do so. You can only do so much with it, unlike WoWs .LUA coding which, until recently, could play most of the game for you with minimal effort.
