Here comes the boom!
And that giant sucking sound is the cash being funneled out of your coffers to pick up your next video card... Here appears to be the first review of the new DX10 card. All I can say is ZOMG. Anyone want to buy a GeForce 7900 GTX... Cheap?! LOL
All kidding aside, who is stepping up to da plate and landing one of these monsters?

Re: Here comes the boom!
I purchased mine today with 2 gig of corsairs xms2 ddr2 800, with a creative a-card (building first rig) only 3 more things left for me to get HD,PSU, and speakers. This time i got fed ex to deliver it, ups can be rough with packages. I went 8800 GTX tho, no real point for me not to get it I had the money it has the performance, ASUS is the maker wanted to stick with the brand pretty much they are all the same cards too across the board, I looked at the architecture specs. My card is coming with 3dmark score 06, ghost recon and some driving game. Hopefully this will be nice paired with my core 2 duo Extreme, I've heard it works well with dual core cpu's, I'll have to see. Will you guys be getting these cards or waiting for the next line of gcards?

Well, maybe sign me up for the 8600 GT or whatever the mid-range card turns out to be. I do wonder what ATI's answer will be like.

I forget at times that not everyone is single like me, but yeah Nil you should be seeing ATI's answer soon I think they're nearly ready for release of their DX 3D 10 cards too. The GTS cards cost like $150 less and they are far superior to 7900gtx's that may be an option.

Re: Here comes the boom!
Havent decided if the Dell 30incher is too big for my desktop or not. Technically it isnt but if I had to turn my head to see either side of the screen, its probably not going to be fun to use. I'll probably pickup a DX10 board in the Feb/Mar timeframe.
