HSF for EX6800?
Does anyone know of a good HSF for the EX6800 I looked into the Blue Orb at Newegg and it doesn't say that it's compatible with that cpu, I also noticed that the Big Typhoon isn't either under the speclist. Are the speclist at newegg just not accurate and they actually work with that chip?
Also I was pricing out a case that had an air conditioning unit in the box that cooled the whole box but didn't blow directly on the cpu, does anyone know how effecient that would be in conjunction with a quality HSF? |

If your not sure what to get online then id recommend going into a computer store and have someone grab one for you so that your not playing the mail back and ofrth game with Newegg.

Re: HSF for EX6800?
Yeah Neatton I'm gonna be going extreme with this cooling thing it shouldn't be too hard, I'm gonna buy a Water Box case from DangerDen which is HUGE, and get their Nvidia recommended water cooling pump kit I'll hook it up to the water blocks and leak test it for about 24-48 hrs before hooking the blocks up to my cpu and gpu. I'm gonna go 1k W psu to run all this PC Power and Cooling has a good one. If all goes well this box will be tricked out to the max. I'm going to have to find external bays for my hard drive tho because I don't believe the box has support for the Hard Drive but my dad's a carpenter and I'm pretty savvy when it comes to modifying things so I'm not too worried about that.

Re: HSF for EX6800?
Uh how many hard drives do you plan on having? If you're buying a case, regardless of whether its water cooled or not it has to have room for at least a couple hard drives.
I mentioned in the other thread that the Blue Orb II will work just fine with an EX6800 according to the Thermaltake website.
