Ok so sli in general isnt worth the money unless you got it to waste, which i really dont but i can afford to buy something worthy. Thanks for the info I was totally psyched at the thought of a sli laptop, heck i still may be, but your makin me think twice now which i appreciate.

You know ive gotta say here with the SLI on a laptop I may think a bit differently. Basically if your wanting it to game and your wanting it to last as long as possible as a gaming machine you will want to give that thing every bit of oomph you can. If your already putting in the best video card you can get and you can afford sli I would do it. If your going with less then the best I would just upgrade the one to the best and be happy with that im sur eyou get the gist there. The reason I feel this way is because the video card isnt going to be as easily upgraded as the rest of the components on your machine so you want them or it to be the best you can afford up front. In fact I would sacrifice on the pieces you can easily upgrade to get the best on the pieces you cant.

Yea they were putting 256mb Geforce 7900's in it, on the whole though since prolly got at least a solid 6 month wait for VG here I might put a couple hundred into my desktop for the time being and get the laptop closer to release so i can get a better deal. You guys have been awesome on the advice though, thanks a ton!
