CES Happenings!
Gates opens with a what he thinks the future brings in technology. He basically talks about streaming data that is important to you from your home PC to your cell and then onto your work computer. Seems like some really neatto stuff. Catch the video here. Gates also announces a new Microsoft product called Urge. This is going to be competing with Itunes. You can purchase music or have a subscription to listen to whatever you want (Which Itunes doesnt offer). They are going to start it up with access to over 2 mil tracks.
Here is a video of some of the features that havent previously been shown of the upcoming Windows vista. You can find that video here. Looks like there is going to be a head butting contest over the HD DVD and Blu-Ray technology for sure now with Microsoft and the Xbox 360 backing one and the Sony PS3 backing the other. We will see who comes out on top or if it is a different technology all together that wins out. Check all of these articles out and much more over at Cnet

Re: CES Happenings!
I wouldn't say macs are all bad. While I do not use one myself there are some applications that work better on a mac than they would a windows based computer. I actually know a couple of people who have both a mac and windows computer for different purposes.

Re: CES Happenings!
That sir would be sarcasm. I actually have a Mac setup at work to do any graphical work. They are not bad but I just dont like them thats a personal opinion of course.

Re: CES Happenings!
Aye, especially now in the days of OS X, it's hard to diss on a mac. The lack of viruses in particular is one reason to go for a mac. I still like my PC though, it's my big brick of raw music making goodness.
