You do not have to reacquire them every time you lose or dismiss the pet. How they work is you use the ability "Necropsy" (at least, I think that's what it's called...) on a corpse and you receive a random vendor item (such as broken bones, pulverized organs, etc) that sell for about 4 copper each or you get a graft. When you summon your Abomination, you'll see two things it can do: cast "Sneer" (which is the taunt) and a backpack icon for the grafts. Simply move the grafts from your inventory into the graft backpack and your Abomination is now grafted!

However, there are a few bugs with the graft system. Every time you cross a chunk line, sometimes after you dismiss and resummon your pet in the same chunk, and every time you log on and summon your pet you will need to remove the grafts from your pet and then put them back before they will work (the same bug exists with Sneer, except it will work when you first log on and you will need to resummon it every time you cross a chunk for Sneer to work again).

Poison Claw II came from a level 18 mob.

What mob did you get the Poison Claw II from? And as for the frost claw...where is Kvsari Gulch? I get a little lost sometimes

It turns out (somebody corrected me on another forum) that is is fists of ice, and the ksvari gultch is in Qalia north of the hive.

Necromancer – Removed Claw of Stunning, Face of Fright and Face of Cowering from the game. If you had these items they will now show up as red circles with red strikes through them. Please delete these from your inventories. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Has anyone noticed stats disappearing from grafts? My Legs of Shadow had a +3 HP on it on top of its evade buff, but now that I look back its gone. And I've definately noticed this on the ribcages/backbones where the Str and HP drops from the description. Is this just a tooltip discrepency, or has the stat actually dropped?

It's a display bug with old grafts...if you get a new version, all the correct stats will still display.

Updated to this point. If possible, Can we get some numbers to fill in on the damage of the claws? Like Poison Claw rank 1 ends up doing about 1 dmg / tick as far as I can tell.
