monk styles

hi im getting closer and closer to 15 and im really wondering how it works with that dragon drunken or harmonyous style, i read a few in wiki and asked some ppls in game but i really dont get it 100% at 15 i do a quest to chose my style right? what changes exactly then do i get different skills with each style? or does the skills from that style get just stronger? and do i get a new stance also? maybe some monks can post what they did so far and how it works with each style.

ok im 16 monk now and i think i kinda got it. u have to go in khal thers the master monk trainer. at 15 he ask u what path u want to chose dragon, drunken or harmonyous body he gives u a quest then and sends u to the master of that style u chose. after u done quests for the other master u get the style. i chosed dragon and when i finished all quests i became 3 stances. one that proccs thunders on melee hits and does additional dmg the other one increases ur hp regen and the last one stone dragon reduces ice and fire dmg u take 30% and increases ur mitigation a bit but u attack 20% slower than normal. anyway it seems like all monks learn all same basic skills u see at ur trainer, but as example i got when i finished dragon quest the aum of the dragon and i chanted the aum while meditating and got at lvl 15 2 dragon style based skills added to the basic skills that i learn from regular master, so i think each style get a different aum u use after each lvl up while u meditate to learn the style specific skills. sorry my english is very bad i hope u got what i wrote here lol

Pretty simple.

- Hit 15
- Talk to your main trainer (in Khal for example). Go to the master monk like she gives you a quest to do.
- choose your path. The master describes them all.
- Follow the waypoint to the master of the path you chose. Do his quick little quest. The drunken quest was basically to get him ale and spar with his apprentice. Took all of 15 min.

Tada! You are what you want to be. I chose Drunken!

Dragon here I had to kill Martok orcs for some marching orders *cry* and then fight a giant stone slab that somehow killed me. But I finished the quest, so voila the magical fighting slab earned me some fancy moves!

since last patch monk seem bugged to me at least dragon style. when i go on storm dragon stance the thunder wont procc anymore.

Drunken seems great for duos and small groups. (which I find myself doing 90%).

Dragon is not bugged. They removed the constant lightning particle and sound from the Storm Dragon proc since it's every single hit, and gets extremely annoying. If you look at the combat log, you'll see that it is still doing extra damage with each hit.

oh ok didnt see it i will check tomorrow on log, but is possible that they made the procc weaker? i remember 2 days ago it procced each hit and ther popped 2 numbers on the screen one was my melee hit other was the procc it was almost around 30% additional melee dmg i think now it seem much weaker to me
