also another thing i was wondering about was weapon choice, i know in eq1 that staffs and hand to hand were the most prominent weapon choice for monks (not sure if they could do anything else but i never saw monks w/o atleast a handtohand weapon) so i found it interesting that they are allowing monks to use swords, i personally am not going to as it does not fit with my mental picture of a monk (im going with a staff btw, think kilik from soul caliber for what im going for ), so what do you guys think about monks w/ swords and if you are gonna try a monk, which will you choose? (sword, staff, or hand to hand are the choices, the hand to hand might be split into hard or soft but i dont remember exactly)

I agree, My vision of monks is 1hb or 2hb weapons or h2h in from eq. Although in the end game in EQ h2h was much more powerful especially with the epic enhancements and aa's then a weapon would be especially if you were Iksar since they had a +% dmg increase and speed over humans. It will be interesting to see monks use weapons like swords...i will prob just use h2h when im poor and if i see a sweet sword drop roll for it..at least they have more options in this game, which makes them more customizable.
