Inquisitor Fanguard Information

Actually... the only information about Inquisitors from Fanguard is that they might not make it into the game by release.

The developers stated that since the inquisitor is so unique, they want to make absolutely sure that when the class is finally implemented, it is done right. I can certainly agree with that philosophy.

Aside from that information, every question about Inquisitors was met with, "I can't discuss that right now." We didn't even get a sniff of what is planned for the class.

I guess the old adage, "Good things come to those who wait" applies here.

Thats really harsh I hope to never be put on the spot like this, 'cos if you're left with two choices: start a temporary character, or wait for Inquisitors to be added before you play.

I really have no idea what I would do - my commiserations Eclipse and all our other Inquisitors in waiting...

It stinks that the Inquisitor may not make it into release. But I would rather wait for it to be done right than have a broken class ship and then have to watch it get modified into something completely different.

Sounds like frogloks in EQ2. A lot of people had their heart set on starting a frog, but then they had to wait for people to finish the quest to unlock them on their server or whatever.

The way I see it, the way to play this for those of us set on playing Inquisitors is to go all-out into diplomacy and/or crafting until the class becomes available. That way we can productively develop our characters despite the wait for our adventure class.

Sorry to here this for all you wanna be inquisitors. But I guess its better to get it done right in the long run.

Eclipse (and to others)- This is also what I would suggest if you are hellbent on playing an Inquisitor. Just grind out diplomacy or crafting. Who knows, Inquisitor could be out a month after release. Thats a whole month of grinding a different sphere which could prove very useful after you start the adventure sphere with your inquisitor.

So let me get this straight we can make a Warrior and then have it converted too a Inq when the class is released? How's that going to work? What of the class of War we make is not the correct class for Inq?
