Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

We have a number of spell checker options for users to spell check their posts with. What do you think about spell checkers? Are they annoying or helpful? Would you use one if it was installed?

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

I try too remember to use the spell checker all the time which is why i am trying to remember to slap on that advanced key,i dont see why one would see that as an annoying option,it works well for me as i have tons of typos all the time

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

I think a spell checker would work ok if it was optional. Alot of boards force it on you which slows down your posting. I think we have a few options that can meet that criteria.

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

While I probabally wouldn't use it myself and really need to use it that often I think it would be nice to have and and be a good addition to these forums. So far I have liked the changes you have been doing to the website and can't wait for you to get the redesign finished with updated information and everything. As the game gets closer to release this website will most certainally recieve more traffic and it would certainally be a good thing to have every helpful feature that is both practical and possible.

I think having a spellchecker might be a good idea for us "morning" typers. It would also help with adding stories and such.

Sure, why not spell check! Makes us keep on our toes when posting on the forums!

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

I use Microsoft word to construct and spell-check my posts. I think including the spell-check as an option would be good, even though I wont be using it.

I probably wouldn't use it all that much, but the option is always nice.

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

I've installed a spell checker on the forums. Please try it out and report any bugs in the Feedback forum. You can either use the Spell Check button next to the preview button or click the little ABC over a checkmark graphic in the top right hand corner of your editor. Thanks.

Re: Would you like to see a spell checker on the forums?

Nice to see that you have added one. I know you put it in a few days ago but I haven't really messed with it. I usually don't use them as I don't need them but I think it's a good addition to the forums for those who aren't so good with their spelling. Far as the program goes I haven't noticed any bugs so far. If I find any I will tell you.
