What OS would you play Vanguard on?

Theres been a couple threads recently now that Microsoft is out of the picture about it being more likely now for Vanguard to support operating systems other than Microsofts. what OS(s) would you play Vanguard on if it was available?

I voted for MS OS and Linux. If Linux continues to rage like they have been they may overtake the quality of Microsoft. I am not sure anyone can ever trump them tho as far as boxes sold are concerned.

Then again, Intel is in the a good fight with AMD and we all know AMD > Intel.

When 3D studio Max runs under Linux then I might consider changing till then I am locked into MS.

When i can go into a computer store - not a "Apple" or "IBM" store - but just a regular computer store where they sell computers, parts, and items for computers and choose between two or more computers that have the same hardware with the only difference being their OS then i will consider moving from MS Windows. Until then, the distribution is not even close to widespread enough for me.

The employees that staff most computer stores do not even know the details of what makes up the insides of computers so u cant even have a q & a with them. I cant even imagine trying to discuss a OS that they dont even know exists.

Since this thread keeps coming up as a new post on my list, i thought i would post something new lol.

I dont think i would ever consider changing from microsoft O/S's. They are just so easy and user-friendly in my estimation. Yes this may be a cop-out but i just dont have any impetus to change my mind.

I am not one of those people that hold grudges against companies for their bad-neighbor business practices. Yes, I know, Sony and Microsoft are the worst offenders but i just dont have that history with them. I guess i expect bad customer service and therefore it doesnt bother me when i get it. I am only saying this because the voice in the back of my head is telling me that most people hate microsoft because of (listed above)

Correct thats how the board is set right now. What is everyones thought on that? On one hand if it only popped to the top after a post we probably wouldnt get as many responses on polls. On the other hand it might not be as annoying when people keep seeing the same thread with nothing new besides a vote at the top of their post list.

i didnt know or even think about the vote total accruing i just thought it was my personal imp getting me back about all the....

now that i know - np - dont mind it and i will keep an eye on those totals

Voted for Microsoft windows, as it is the operating system I use.

I might have tried Linux but there is too many compatible problems and also a lot of application just would not work unless I have WINE or do all kind of tweaking all the time.
