Volume License Keys are quite expensive. Unless you're looking at installing more than a couple machines they wont be cost effective.

ahh well, yeah was just trying to save a bit of money when I finish the other comp that I'm building that will bring me up to 4 comps for the kids wife and me, So might not be that great of a diff to buy the lic then . but I will check it out cause it going to cost me a pretty penny for 4 comps to be switched over at the reg price doh!! thanks for the heads up!!!

I have and will stick with XP any version.
I only upgrade other puters when I get a new one on the network with the newer OS. So if i have 3 puters with xp and the new one has vista, then i will upgrade the rest. |

There are emulators that can run Direct X games on Linux like Wine.

Like some so far, I stick with XP for the time being. After a few months or so, price should drop (hopefully), as well with feeback (positive or negative) from other folks. It does sound really nice. What about dx10? any info on that? |

Happy New Year also to all. Looking forward to the actual release so I can get started. Rather impatient here.
XP Pro is what I am running and probably will for awhile longer (unless Santa makes another run by the house). |
