I wouldnt make it automatically create a new thread each time a dev post came in. It would just be an option if someone read a post and wanted to comment here instead of in the original thread. Sometimes the OVF threads get so cluttered up you cant possibly keep up with them and your comments get lost. Not a problem here...yet.
I didn't know he was as I have yet to see his comments on the bottom of the page but I never looked in his section either. I just didn't think you added him because he wasn't a Sigil employee and at the time you did the dev tracker he wasn't posting.

I agree with Flagg. Sometimes you want to discuss a topic in another environment, if you catch my drift.

By the way Jaeth, if you ever see a dev quote that you find particularily juicy, just start up a new thread in the respective forum, quote it, and let us know what you think. That can be a very effective way of starting up a great thread with conversation about said topic or quote Just something to keep in mind.

Re: Should we open the Dev Tracker threads up to community comments?

I already had that in mind.

It's just easier to do it the other way - and you know how lazy I am.

(Don't you?)

Thumbs up Re: Should we open the Dev Tracker threads up to community comments?

Your idea to open the dev tracker to community comments seems fine to me . We still can quote them waiting for you (Pirotess) to finish to implement that tho'.

I don't think that it is going to generate too many pointless comments ; But I may be wrong.
