Are you an MMO refugee?

Quit WoW a few months ago after playing since release. Tried to get back into UO...it changed way too much, tried EQ2, NWN, Eve Online, Guild Wars (twice). I even went through my old CD collection and found Diablo II.

Never got anything going. Ever since I quit WoW i've been wandering the mmo sites looking for betas and games to be released. God, lets hope vanguard is my answer! Please!!!

1 month in AO jsut after launch.
2 1/2 years in SWG
1 year in EQ2 (just reactivated until VG comes out) Was getting the itch to play something.

Tried various other trials (EVE, CoH, WoW, AC2) didn't come close to liking any of them. Especially WoW, bored me to tears.

Definitely not a game to play solo. Its pretty decent with a guild.

Really wasn't anything I liked about that game. The graphics were borderline intolerable. Couple the things I didn't like about it with a disturbingly annoying playerbase and it made for a horrendous experience.

Yep, refugee here also. Mainly from WoW, quit in the early summertime, it was getting too tedious and the guild I was part of began to implode. So I tried out Eve, SWG, and Guild Wars; none of them really grabbed my attention.

Vanguard, on the other hand, has grabbed my attention.
So now I'm impatiently waiting for its release.

Yeah if you played WoW, you probably missed the heyday of SWG. So I'm guessing you tried it post CU or even NGE era. Pretty much anything was crap in that game once the CU hit. The CU was somewhat tolerable, the NGE was anything but.

currently im playing FFXI and for some reason, the game has a hard time holding my attention, i cant grind out xp like i used to, im typicaly bored after a half hour, and crafting is pointless unless you hate having money. though i really want to get lvl 75 = / im currently lvl 69 bard. but i just dont think ill make it = /

I am, i left the gaming world to go back to desktop, aftre Everquest was Ruined. Now i am Just trying to get some of the buds from the OLD EQ days back and see if this is Comparable to the Fun when, a raid into unrest was big time and everything was not Foo Foo, and catering to thoes who just wanted fast fun with out the work.
