I believe that I will listen to the music pretty much all the time if I'm soloing. I am in a guild that uses Ventrilo/Team Speak alot of the time. When I'm in guild chat and grouping I will prolly turn it down so it doesn't blast me out of the room when others are trying to talk to me. I always use a head set for simple reason being that I have children. Children and a bunch of grown men and women swearing over a voice chat is'nt really a good idea. I typically just leave one side of the head set off my ear. lol

My ears get so sore no matter what headset I use if I keep them on my ears. They apparently like to breath!

I am going to be playing with the music on. I have the few samples DL's to my hard drive and listen to it as background music while I clean house or surf the web. My four year old has even started to like it.

Sound and music on for me, I can always hear a monster sneaking up on me! I associate places with their music in EQ and wouldn't have it any other way.

I will probably leave the music on at first, at least to hear some of it. eventually, I suppose I will turn it off and just leave on the sound effects. at low volume, so I can just hear it. this is what I have been doing in pretty much all games I've ever played.
