If you're like me, you're starting to wake up in the mornings feeling like you should have a hangover, cuz your eyes are squinty and your head feels like a balloon. But instinctively, you amble to the computer, close your eyes, click on your favorite Affiliate and slowly open your eyes to see what new has happened or been said over night. If you REALLY want to shoot yourself, you'll go to one of the "other" sites that lets the flames roar (hint there, guys!)

So, how do ya feel now? All warm and cozy?

NOT!

Therefore, for a change today, I am ignoring the state of affairs to tell you that our GM Keejay has updated the Cloaked in Crimson blog with an artsy picture she took looking up from under water. There are also some other very wonderful screenies for your enjoyment! A wedding (where is MollyB?), zombies, a lovely sunset and GM Lorak getting it in the back! Silly dark elves!

It's a fun blog, and we thanks Keejay for sharing it!

Also, there is a new look at the VGRolePlayers forum site! And, while I was there, I thought I'd look around a bit. Doing so, I stumbled on a thread that caught my eye, if only for the title: I don't quit! Such a breath of fresh air, so I'd like to thank Twowings Flamespinner for the morale boost of the day! I hope to see more threads like this soon!

Now, with a happy thought and a smile, I leave you now. Have a great day and hang on to that smile! Ya just might need it sometime!

I may be overstepping my bounds for saying this and I don't mean to rub it in but I am quite disappointed with the moderation of a certain other affiliate site. They say "A Spark Neglected Burns The House". As it stands there are people currently badmouthing the affiliate program and some are even going so far as asking for the death of it. When it was decided that all discussion forums were to managed by the fansites Elrar said "Fan sites create communities that are supportive of each other rather than the self destructive behaviors that are seen in more centralized communities." By allowing the flames to go unchecked this particular affiliated fansite has become home to a self-destructive community it was supposed to prevent. This is sending a signal to the community that the affiliate fansite program has been a failure. I don't believe it is a failure, yet. I do believe however; that if this site doesn't start stepping up the moderation soon the community that many worked so hard to build will go up in flames to loss of all.

If powers that be feel that this post was too far over-the-line then remove it. It would be a sad day indeed if my post started a fire over here.

i kinda feel like that about all of the people who post crap like 'I quit! this game blah blah blah whine whine. they lost another costomer blah blah blah'

to me those are as bad as flames, if not flames themselves. i mean, the only reason to post crap like that is to try and get others to follow you and quit too, they hardly ever contain anything that could be mistaken as constructive criticism so you can't tell me they are just trying to get SIGIL to see what's wrong with this or that.
