'Twas the day before Christmas, and all through the Community the hustle and bustle of the holiday season has made the News a little light in the last couple of days. With great reason, of course.

A couple special events have happened around here as well, One of them pre-empting the daily news. They say good things happen in threes, and Cindy and Destral sure started something good! We say a huge Congratulations to Soulpainter and his new Fiance. I think he talked to my boyfriend as well, but he won't own up to it.

Martuk is in Lady Sirse's Staff spotlight this week over at Ten Ton Hammer. This Muscle Man of Mystery is a very busy man but still has time to Report and be a Mentor to his young Nephew, who looks up to Martuk as he leads him to the path of the Warrior.

The Drunken Dwarf has put his swords away for the week, bringing peace and love to the Vanguard Fighters world through the holiday season. The regular Friday column The Art of War will return next week at its scheduled time.
