Re: Vanguard Review on TV?
There are oppinions that are arguable, like whether this outfit looks good, or this food tastes bad, or this game is teh roxxors.
Saying the sky is completely clear on a cloudy day doesn't count as an oppinion, atleast to me. I love this game. I bought the collector's addition. I play everyday (when my char isn't bugged out). I've been playing since beta 1. But it's still feeling like Beta 6. There's been 4 days that I've been unable to play since pre-order launch, atleast on my main. I've also lost adventuring experience twice (although it was later restored). In my oppinion, a current review for this game should give it an initial low rating because it isn't finished. It is not finished is not an oppinion btw. I would expect a review like the above no earlier than six months from now. That is my oppinion. |

Re: Vanguard Review on TV?
Ive been a public speaker before and often have to do presentations etc in my line of work..
You can always tell when someone giving a speech or presentation doesnt actually beleive what they are saying themselves!.. they look nervous and stiff.. they try to force a relaxed body language which turns out to be strange body movments which dont look natural. Its not like this guy has done this review live (which might explain why he looks and sounds so nervous) but still, to me, he looks and sounds like he knows what he is saying isnt completly truthfull. Notice at the very end how he tilts his head like as if he is trying to read something to the side... lol.. A sure sign that what he 'thinks' and what he 'says' are two different things ![]() I feel sorry for him actually, Im fairly certain that he didnt write that script himself.. or if he did he was being influenced by someone. And thats my opinion ![]() |

Re: Vanguard Review on TV?
it was the guy's first TV appearance, quoted by him from a link someone gave a few posts up
from here "My first TV appearance, very nervous!" doesn't mean what you said isn't true, just means to cut a bit of slack if he happened to forget a line and looked down on a sheet. Some people are destined for tv, some aren't.....me personally, I hate public speaking to an extreme. Although, I have no problem getting up on stage with a band and playing music - but that's a bit different. |

Re: Vanguard Review on TV?
Heheh look what I started! I'm gonna go hide in a corner and only post nonesense from now on.
I by no means denounce anyone's opinion, and by stating what I did in my first post in this thread, I meant it as... please don't denounce others for their opinions as well. I probably should have left well alone, but as you'll soon find out ... I'm a woman and a redheaded one at that, and sometimes I don't realize until way after the fact that I should have held my peace. I am a glass is half full kinda girl when it comes to Vanguard. I don't deny that there are many bugs still present in game, and that many people have major problems (character issues, items going POOF, and the like). However, I have faith that they will be worked out in the end. You won't find me denouncing people, telling them to like it or leave, "go back to WoW" or anything like that. However I will politely suggest that if they do have problems paying to play what they consider an unfinished product, that they stop their subscription and perhaps decide to return at some point down the road when the game is more on par with what they consider worthy of their $15 a month. PS - My daughter has been helping me type, so this post has seen many edits (after her initial submission of half my post because she likes hitting the ENTER key). Ahh.... toddlers.
