 News in about downtimes and patches for all servers starting at midnight PST on Jan 30th. Quote:

Attention!
On 1/30/07 at 12AM PST / 8AM GMT all servers will be brought down for a patch. Estimated downtime for all approximately 6 hours. The originally scheduled European Server hardware upgrade will take place at this timed. Thank you! - The Vanguard Team

Yes, I'm not sure where the 2 hrs came from but it clearly says on the Vanguard site that it will be a 6hr patch. I wouldn't expect the servers to be back up before 6am PST, most likely an hour or so after that because of the huge mass of logon requests that will hit all at once.
