PvP Rulesets
![]() The newsday isn't over yet! Elrar just released information related to the PvP rulesets on the upcoming live servers. The biggest tidbit of note is that the US alt PvP and EU PvP servers' ruleset is TEAM BASED! Details on each ruleset Free for all server: Minimum level 7 20% soft level difference (explained below) 15% coin loot PvE item durability is disabled on ability activation and PvP death causes a chance for each equipped item to take a large hit Releasing your spirit after a PvP death takes you to your bind point. You will not drop a corpse. Team server: Minimum level 7 20% soft level difference 15% coin loot Durability is no different than a PvE server Releasing your spirit drops a corpse (with no experience loss) and transports you to the nearest altar Defensive targeting and grouping is restricted The Teams Shadows of Kaerellun

I've not looked at the maps, but I believe I've read that the "Q" continent (forgotten it's real name) is much larger then the other two. I believe this is why.

Qalia and Thestra are rather large, while Kojan is just a small string of islands.

I wonder if they will change this ruleset. It becomes a problem when my son and I want to make characters on the same team, and then at some point are separated because we chose different races on different continents. Hopefully, my High Elf or Gnome will be on the same continent as his Vulmane is (not sure of the Gnome, I think High Elf is though)..

The thing is, that each of these teams have about an equal number of starting locations on each continent, except for kojin, but even there the evil starting locations are a bit more fortified than the good starting locations (ie open tree city, kill 2 guards and youre into a majority of the city without much worry.
