Beta 0!

This evening Cindy Bowens announced that Beta 0 is about to begin! The official announcement can be found in the new "Beta Announcement" forum which was recently opened. Beta 0 will be comprised of friends and family of the Sigil crew and will represent a fairly small group of testers. As the code stabilizes they will expand the number of people playing and announce new phases of Beta. To all the lucky folks about to embark on journey's into the world of Telon, we wish you good luck and a good time.

Cindy also announced several changes to the forums. They have been expanded to include sections that will focus on the Adventuring, Crafting and Diplomacy spheres. This is a great chance as the Game Design forum was rapidly spiraling out of control. Overall a very eventful evening!

Sounds like WoW's alpha period... curious to see how long they run their beta compared to EQ2/WoW.

Hopefully... their Beta is similar to WoW in length (the more bugs fixed the better). EQ2's beta felt rushed. I did like the way Sony allowed Affiliates to hand out beta passes... kinda hoping the same happens here, in some capacity. (maybe not as broad)
