I could see Beta 5 going right up until that "3 day early" window for pre-order people, with maybe a day or two between them.

Meh, thats not bad. Little over two weeks. As I've said before, last 2 weeks of a beta they can bring a game in terrible shape to running beautifully, fairly bug free and plenty of tweaks / adjustments.

two weeks ago I would have said end of Feb for release but they have really worked hard and the game is looking good. There is of course no way they can sort out all the problems this month but there should be enough content to give the post release patching team time to finish the features scheduled for the release version.

I don't think anything ever comes out entirely bug free... but from how the beta has been, they address major problems VERY quickly. I like it

The Australian release date (and this is on pre-order) is 15 February =/ Its quite painful what we have to put up with in relation to game distributors. On the up side I guess I will miss the first few rounds of itty-bitty fixy patches.

Heard that on the 3-day early deal you get to keep your alt and all his goodies it will just cross over to you real game that would be cool

Not sure where you heard that, but no beta characters will survive over to launch.

However the 3 day early period is Live, so it is the real deal, just before official release. Those characters you can keep.
