Happy New Year to our Friends!

Well, it's happened! Another year is gone and a new one is taking its place with promises yet to be filled.

So much has happened to each and every one of us through the year! Pirotess got married and Cobalt Katze graduated from college. I can't believe I've been with Spheres now for almost a year and a half! We've watched 2 betas roll by and have the promise of B-5 breathing down our necks!

We've listened to the griefers rant and watched unbelievers as they've eaten their words upon actually playing in beta as Brad and the other devs looked on. Sites that talked trash now court Sigil and are escorting them to launch! We saw the exodus of MicroSoft and Brad do (what many of us considered) the unthinkable in partnering with SoE to co-publish Vanguard.

We ended 2006 with a mad dash to Wiki-land and found a jewel in our newest staff member, Kethra. She and CK sat up with me as we suddenly found ourselves privy to more information released to the Affiliates just a couple of days ago, and worked (almost) tirelessly to get the information to you all while it was fresh. She and I also work with Vanguard Radio and, at any given time, might find us both in their IRC chat as well as our own chat here. We feel it's necessary to keep our fingers on the pulse of the community and help where we may. That is what Spheres is about, as it is!

2007 will see the birth of Telon. After these years of waiting, people will be able to walk the world that Brad, Jeff, Keith Parkinson, and a host of others dreamed of and created. Many will remember Keith as they enter the world and see the great Wizard's hand. They will not mourn, but rejoice that he lives on in the world.

Vanguard Spheres resolves to remain commited to the community at large. We resolve to keep our site free from the controversy and inappropriate content that filters in to so many places, causing dissention, and works to tear them apart. We resolve to follow the policies that Sigil has laid down for the Affiliates of VSoH.

Be well, happy and safe in this coming year. Pray for peace and understanding between us all, and for all the people of the world.

Happy new year everyone and thanks for being with us in 2006 and 2007. The fireworks in Las Vegas were pretty cool. The newscast from the channel 8 team had to have been the most unprofessional coverage I've ever seen though which of course made it intensely funny to make fun of with our friends as we rang in the new year.

when is the open beta coming out i have preorder the game today and i got the open beta test.. but it wont let me on it . it says its a closed beta right now that i have to wait till open beta... whats up with that? when does it open to public?

I love calling this place home. Though I am not as active as would like to be, this by far the best source for VG info. Here is to another year and many more as we prepare to welcome Vanguard into our homes.(Hopefully my wife will understand my obsession.)
