Just feel a bit like it, but then, anyone in retail this time of year probably feels much the same!

My way of saying that I haven't forgotten ya'll. Just eyeball level (and rising) busy, so the news is lacking a bit. But, while I'm slaving away, I'm HOPING...(notice the broad hints!!)...that there are more music folk getting ready to send me their entries for the December beta-slot contest! We have one, but want MORE!!! How can we give away 4 slots if we don't get entries?? You have til the last day of December to write your composition! PLEEEEEZE??

OH, and hang onto your caps, cuz the jolly old Fat Man might just make some special drops before ya know it!

(and no....I'm not saying where or what or anything. No time...I need sleep...)

I don't envy any retail workers this time of year. I couldn't do it. I watched this complete A-Hole just berate a clerk at Best Buy the other day. I finally told him to relax he whipped around to say something to me and realized it probably wasn't a good idea (6'4" pushing 3 bills hehe) LOL he did stop yelling at the clerk though.

Anyway I am looking for the post on this contest and I don't see it? If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I got a job in retail for the season, lol. Wow, it is pretty crazy, and i'm working in a little store in my mall, but does it get a lot of traffic, we cashed out with around $13,000 on thursday. I really feel sorry for my managers, cause i only have 2 and one of them needs to be their while the store is open, so they have to share 7 days a week 12 hours a day(cept sunday, few less hours) and i'm only doing at most 8 hours a day. Most of my customers have been kind, a few smart arses, but mostly kind ones. It's an interesting job, i think it would be a good learning experience for some people to have to do during the holidays.

I go in tomorrow and will probably get slammed with a few returns. Strangely enough, we had more returns this past weekend than we had in total after christmas last year.

Oh well....HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!
