Even tho we're a day late, we want to send out CONGRATULATIONS!! to Daeron, who submitted Rift Walker on the Vanguard Rangers site for the "Name the Creature" contest!

Even tho he didn't win, we still want to acknowledge Mobius, from our home, sweet home, as the (what we will consider as) runner up! Unfortunately, he doesn't get anything but a mention here, but I thought his entry of Dread Wing Bone Gleaner was great! So did a few of you, it seemed. Great name, Mobius, and don't give up!

TenTon Hammer has a goodie!! Shayalyn posed a question that addressed the huge debate about what is going on with our favorite game, with it's esteemed spokesman and (partial) creator and Exec. Producer, Brad McQuaid. You can read the short, yet direct reply here and then follow the link to their forum to discuss it, if you like. Or, discuss it here. It's a great topic and does carry some weight, but I think Brad covers it well.

You may have noticed that there is a new forum that is dedicated to keeping you up with all the fun posts/topics about VSoH! Our newest staffer, RSSbot, is my newest best friend! For instance, the item I just mentioned is there along with a lot of other great stuff from our fellow Affiliates! And yes, RSSbot even makes sure we get mentioned, as well!

Thanks to Pirotess for my newest bestest buddy, and I hope you all take advantage of the great tool that it is!

Don't forget to tune into Vanguard Radio and hear what's going on, as well as read and join a new community dedicated to the fan base. Hoping to be an Affiliate soon, VR has an IRC chat and forum listed on it's main page that anyone can click into. Have fun with this one! You might even get some surprises now and then!
