Drum Roll, Please.....
 We have a WINNER!!! But first, a bit of news I found this morning on the VSoH site!  Like a follow-up to the recent interviews with Gamespot and IGN (as well as others), Voodoo Extreme has posted another interview with Jeff Butler and April Jones. Seems like hype time is here, doesn't it? So, if you would like, you can read the newest right here before we announce who won the October slot!! ... ... No? Okay, then let's move on, but do go back and catch up, all right?  First, our judges: Two members of our site are very well educated in the skills of writing and bringing words to life. I asked them both if they would accept the task of helping chose the winning entry, and they agreed, so I'd like to thank them now and tell you a bit about them. Damina has been with the site for well over a year! She is actually the one that got me involved here, and I owe her a big one for that! She has been making up stories since she learned to speak and has been published in literary journals and magazines, and is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in creative writing (and her novel, but I didn't say that, ok?)  And Ozekee! Also a member of VS for just over a year, but the silent type. That doesn't mean he hasn't been watching our every move! Oz has a wrap sheet that's a mile long...in creative writing and bringing things to life. While I can't be specific, I will say that many of the people who have enjoyed interactive content in Everquest would be able to thank him. I'll admit, I was the third judge. I do have experience in editing and writing that extends back quite a while. But...let's move on, ok? The winner of the October Beta-Slot Contest is... oh, and - Thanks to all of our writers, and I hope that this will, perhaps start a trend here. Creative writing is fun and fun to read. It wasn't an easy task that we had here!! Ties make things really interesting, too!! But, there can be only one, so.... Lucky Number "7"! Congratulations to you, whoever you are!! To our readers, remember that he or she can't say "thank you" or any such thing, but I'm sure there will be smiles a-plenty on the other side of a monitor, somewhere in the world! Until next time....
