Nightmare Before Halloween!

Too early for christmas, after all!

The "nightmare" is only if you need to finish your entry for this month's beta-slot contest! You have until midnight tomorrow...halloween...to get your entry in! We have 8 listed, so far. Read them and comment! We might even listen!

In case you've forgotten the rules, here they are:

Write a short story based on your knowledge of Telon and it's lore. The only rules are as follows:

- Must be written in English (or translated into English first)
- Must be appropriate for the general population to read (in other words, PG-13 and down...not up!)
- Must be original content...and yes, there are ways to check! No plagiarism!
- Any entry found inappropriate will be held, pending notification to the author to edit the content.
- Please be certain to register on the site, if you haven't already, and send me your forum name with your entry so we will know who to PM with the winning notification. (don't use your forum name in your entry)

When you are finished and have proofread your entry, please e-mail them to me at aredhel.vanguard@gmail.com and I will post them for everyone to read. I must have these in my box by midnight Tuesday, Oct. 31. The winner will be notified Friday, Nov. 3, 2006. Unfortunatley, we can't tell you who wins, but all of the stories will be on the site for you to read and enjoy.

Something I've found interesting is the anti-VSoH site, MMORPG.com actually interviewing folks from Sigil! Could it be that they've kicked against the stones so much that they've become believers? Check out these two: The first was with our Glip, aka Nick Parkinson about general Q/A facts, and the other a fun debate between Technical Director, Ryan Elam and Game Designer, Derek McDevitt in Young VS Old: Dev Debate.

Other than that, gang, just get ready for the hordes of holy or undead ready to hit your doorsteps tomorrow night! Who will the winners be? Princess power or ninjas? We want to hear about the most creative costume that appears before you, so take notes, or even pictures!

Inquiring minds want to know! (or is it a mom with a son going to work tonite dressed as 'V'??) :confused:
