Getting a handle on things...
Ok with that out of the way I'd like to draw your attention to an article by Cobalt Katze regarding our trip a few weeks ago to Sigil HQ. In the article CK spills a little secret sauce about languages and a few other topics. Take a look! Speaking of articles, Genda of Vanguard Crafters has published part one of a three part article where he interviews Salim Grant. In his article, Genda talks about some of the improvements that have been happening to the Vanguard crafting system since beta started and teases us with details of the next two parts of the interview. Chris Grenadier of Diplomatters.net has also jumped into the article fray with his article entitled "Diplomacy in Cities: How?" In the article Chris expresses his thoughts about how player run cities will operate which makes for a great discussion piece. Martuk of TenTonHammer has published part 6 of the "A tale of two players" column. In his latest article, "Death is only the Beginning", Martuk talks about the Death penalty and the need for it to sting to be useful. Karas Lightstride also of TenTonHammer has also published an article worth looking at. In his article entitled "Adapt...and Overcome? Karas focuses on the mechanic of "Working smarter....not Harder" that he learned from his days in the Navy. He goes on to relate how that mechanic can be applied to todays MMO's. In other news, MMO renegades Episode 4 has been released to the public on the Silky Venom site. Vanguard Stratics has also announced that its House of Commons chat with the Sigil team has been rescheduled for November 23rd, 2005 at 5pm PST. Vanguard Stratics also has a number of new additions to their fan art section by none other than Hijinks. Nice work Hijinks! Forum Debrief:
