Referral Contest Update!!

As you know August is community building month here at Vanguard Spheres!

Currently our referral contest is moving along quite nicely but we think its time to push it into overdrive. Thanks to Sigil we now have some very nice ammo to do just that.

Effective immediately, in addition to the 6 month paid subscription to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, we now have a guaranteed Beta 3 slot to give away! This is no gimmick and is a Sigil sanctioned prize!

To be eligible to win the beta 3 slot, all you need do is participate in the referral contest already running and have a valid forum account on the official Vanguard forums. Members who have already generated referrals in the contest are already eligible. A random drawing will be held on September 1st at 12:01am and the winner will be contacted via email and private message here on the boards. Remember to have your referrals count, the person you referred must not only register here on the boards but participate as well! Good luck to everyone and have fun!

Good luck in catching up to joejccva with 54 referals so far (only 13 have posted so far tho so its still feasable someone could catch up.

Sarcoth is in a really close second place with 12 out of 13 referals posting.

In other news other afiliates have mentioned their beta key. Some havn't.

Vanbard Last updated on Aug 11th. There is a thread in the forums with a "what will we do with these thread. UPDATE: Tell us a Tale.

The contest is simple. We want you to tell us a bardic-based tale. It can be something you experienced in a previous game as a bard or with a bard, something you might plan on doing as a bard in the world of Telon, in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, or it can be a bardic tale of a completely different kind.

Vangaurd Crafters UPDATE: There are rules but basically:

You must post something constructive by the end of the month.

Vangaurd Fighters Is randoming with any new posts between now and Sept 1st.

VG Stratics UPDATE:

Every month the user that has made the most posts in the Vanguard Stratics Forums (excluding "spam" and "troll" posts) will receive a beta account!

It's all about the forums, baby! We'll be keeping an eye on all new threads started between Friday, August 18, and Friday, August 25, 2006. On August 26, we will choose a thread at random, and place all the names of those who've posted in that thread into a hat or some other convenient object from which we can blindly draw names.
