Vanguard B-Roll Remix!

If you've been paying attention to the recent August Vanguard hype, you may have heard about the B-Roll which was accidently sent to GameVideos.com, part of the 1up Network.

What was released is actually what we call b-roll. Let's say a TV station interviews Brad about Vanguard. While he's talking about the game, they may cut from showing him actually talking to showing some footage of the game. That's b-roll and that's what this footage was intended for. It is just "raw" footage with no music and as few sound effects as possible because the sound focus is on the people talking.

While that video may have disappeared from the pages of GameVideos, Brad McQuaid gave the go-ahead for people to host the B-Roll video if they so chose to. Thanks to the on-the-ball downloading of joejccva from the Official Vanguard Forums, that video has made its way to both YouTube and the Spheres.

But we here at Vanguard Spheres have taken it even further. Remixing the Vanguard logo from the newest trailer onto the B-Roll footage complete with BGM released by Sigil and subtitles noting known locations and gameplay showcases. We present to you, the Vanguard B-Roll Remix!

The only word I can think of after seeing this movie is: awsome,

The video looked great...the enviorments are stunning.

The B-roll provides more information than the other video. Left it looping for hours. I cant wait to see the real thing. My only critisum has been addressed which was the terrible jerky animation.

Yeah I really hope they can resolve the flight and horse animations problem. Right now the dragon looks eerily reminiscient of the EQ2 griffons which looked like they were on strings as well as rails. The horse legs look good but they glide too much and the rider and horse body need to flex.

Amazing Video, great of you to host it. I watched a bit of the low-res version until I realized I previously registered Then switched to the other.

In response to the current problems within the game, im sure Sigil has taken notice and they will get polished prior to release (At least I hope!)

Btw, great looking site, I'll try be around more often nowdays

Edit: The level-up system is a neat touch, first time I've seen it before.
