August Media Mayhem

It's already two (or three, depending on where you live) days into August, and Sigil is already laying it on thick with new Vanguard media for general consumption!

Headlining today at GameVideos.com, after a bit of a mixup (they had originally been sent the b-roll for Vanguard intended to be used with interview footage cuts), is a new trailer for V:SoH! Located within are some great new pieces of footage from Hillsbury Manor, grasslands in Qalia, flying through the ruins of the elven magic school, sailing through the docks of Khal, dark dungeons, vast landscapes, and a beautiful shot of a swamp drake soaring away from New Targonor into the clouds. If you look closely, you can even spot the king of Bordinar's Cleft sitting on his throne in full regalia!

The second point of interest regards some fresh new screenshots from beta testers, with several locations we have never seen before! Some of the more notable shots include a ship sailing under a ruined bridge, a wisp and faeries at a very ancient ruin, a half-elf with a chin to rival even Bruce Campbell, and a sturdy giant standing proudly in what would seem to be his mountain-carved home (complete with black volumetric smoke rising from the peaks).

Beta 3 is almost upon the community, and with the promise of 10-20 thousand new testers being invited into the process, many members are getting pretty antsy! Keep your fingers crossed, and keep checking back to the Spheres for more Vanguard info as it pops up!
