Screen Shots, anyone?

Not sure how we missed this one, but GameSpot posted these screenshots, and....BOY!

I happened to be trying to wade thru the continuing discussions of the recent events and found this mentioned by someone! It must have been done at E3, but I'm not sure yet. I did read some articles, and one about Microsoft's booth never mentioned VSoH, as I thought it would.

For those of you who were asking about what EMotion would do for VSoH, read Niborea's article from this afternoon that goes into a bit more detail! You'll find it here at TenTonHammer. Very interesting stuff! We haven't seen anything yet, I don't think!

Genda, of Vanguard Crafters fame, is sending home letters telling of adventures at E3! You can read the notes when you have some time. Wish I were there with ya, Gen!

I know there will be a lot more from E3 towards the end of the week, which is only a couple days from now, and even more when the Sigil crew gets home and regrouped!

It's been a busy week for Vanguard, and one nobody is likely to forget too soon! So, until next time, enjoy the screenies and have some fun, ok? Remember...just b r e a t h !

(wow...ya think maybe that's a good title for a song?????)

Yeah I found those screenshots earlier via the link at Silky Venom. I must say that there are some very nice ones. There also a few that would make very good desktops like the ones with the undead spiders or the seascapes. The graphics of the game have indeed come a very long way to the early alpha screenshots we got 18 months or how ever long it's been ago.

Re: Screen Shots, anyone?

Do wish they got shadows sorted, especially for those internal shots that look so flat. Some of those screenshots were really good though and I will spend a few days pawing over them. Just a few tweeks on lighting and shadows and the graphics is ready to go.

EMotion sounds like one of my wishes come true. It is great to have unique face and body shape but the way you move is just as important in making you recognisable as a unique character.

Anyone else getting a bit scared at just how technically complex Vanguard is?

Physics emulation, Speedtree, Unreal Engine, EMotion, all great pieces of software but making them all work together seamlessly is a real challenge.

I will say this for Sigil those guys have got guts.
