...But first some absolutely amazing screenshots depicting some new models and terrific texture detail. The first is a picture of a battle between a Votul and a High elf. The second a shot of a party fighting animated guardsmen. In particular the detail of the tree relief on the wall in the second shot is amazing. Thanks to Glip for providing us with these amazing shots.

Whew, that's a lot to, erm, digest in one go...

The screenshots are amazing! Especially the body-less animated temple guardsmen. The whole tree-thing-on-the-walls thing is very exciting - if we can expect this level of detail in every dungeon... My oh my!

It looks like the indoor lighting has had some major tweaking. Spell effects seemed a little heavy on the animated armor but that is a minor niggle on what are some very nice shots.
