Weekly Wrap-up Incoming...
...But first some absolutely amazing screenshots depicting some new models and terrific texture detail. The first is a picture of a battle between a Votul and a High elf. The second a shot of a party fighting animated guardsmen. In particular the detail of the tree relief on the wall in the second shot is amazing. Thanks to Glip for providing us with these amazing shots. We'll break our silence further by making sure you get to see this interview on Silky Venom! I had a great time reading it and seeing just what kind of personalities are going to be our GMs and the ideas they could tell us without breaking the NDA! Also, SV got a couple of screen shots that you'll want to check out! Looks like AnomalousSilence has some pet peves, as well as I do! Check out what sets AnomalousS off and some of the reasoning, which is quite good (even if I didn't write it! ) over at TenTon Hammer. And while you're there, read the third installment of Roses and Rain, Part III by Merriandra Eldaronde. If you somehow missed it, CGONLINE.COM got a super exclusive!! Exclusive Vanguard Beta Test, no less!! WHOOT! The June issue has a real hook in it! Stratics has a new poll up asking about your preferences in guilds, so if you want to be counted, head to their web site and leave your mark! So, there you have a wrap-up of the week! Enjoy it and let us know what you think! And, in the meantime, have a great weekend, ok? Go hug a tree (Earth Day here in the states!) and let it know how much you appreciate all the oxygen! Bye, for now!

Re: Weekly Wrap-up Incoming...
Whew, that's a lot to, erm, digest in one go...
![]() The screenshots are amazing! Especially the body-less animated temple guardsmen. The whole tree-thing-on-the-walls thing is very exciting - if we can expect this level of detail in every dungeon... My oh my! Thank you for the nice wrap-up! ![]() Last edited by Jaeth : 04-22-2006 at 06:56 PM. |

Re: Weekly Wrap-up Incoming...
Those animated guards give me flashbacks to watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks when I was younger
Love em ![]()

Re: Weekly Wrap-up Incoming...
Screenshots are making me soooo jelous of beta testers. Also, they make me realize the money I spent on System upgrades was, or will be, well worth it.
