Hard to keep up!

Silky Venom has released part 5 of their E3 wrapup on their site. You can find all 5 parts here. An intriguing part of the review was the mention of a system that will allow you to loan gear to friends. Neat stuff. Woody over at GUComics also just published a review of what he saw at E3. One of the most intresting comments from that review was this piece about monitoring your vendor while out of game. Here are a few quotes that explain what I mean.

Remember the good old days of lending something to a pal and then they forget to bring it back? Or that item in the news not so long ago where one player assaulted another player IRL for selling a sword that had been loaned to him? Thing of the past with Vanguard. You will be able to put aside gear for apprentices, sidekicks, friends, guildees. They can use it but not sell or trade the item, and it remains yours to take back at any time.

Originally posted by GuComics:
Admitting that their schemes were "grandiose", Jeff pointed at his cell phone and said, "Text messages to your phone when someone buys something. Monitor your inventory and everything OUT of the game with a subset of game tools." To which Jon added, "Imagine mobile games. A cell phone game you can play that becomes a tool you use to practice lock picking while you\'re offline." He followed that up with a disclaimer that these were "long term things" but that it was within the direction of the vision.

Check out the full GUcomics review here.
