Can you feel it? About half of the OVF members have received their invitations to apply to beta 1 and it almost seems like people are holding their breath. Will you get the nod or will the other guy or gal get it? We're interested to hear how you're coping with the situation and what you plan to do if you dont get in. Please take a couple moments to respond to our thread on the subject here.

Vanguard Mondes Persistants is the newest recipient of the continuing saga of spider and zombie screenshots. These shots seem to be a bit darker than the previous images but I dont think they are representative of the new world lighting system being active.

Jansan recently commented in a thread on the OVFs about how Sigil envisioned crafters to co-exist and advance themselves:

A series of articles have cropped up across the affiliate sites this morning. Vanguard Crafters and Silky Venom have reported on a new article detailing the decline of Lineage 2's popularity in Korea. You can find the article by JunSok, Huhh in PDF form at this address. The article is heavy on mathematics and statistics but if you skip around the article there are some excellent observations that support the theory that the secondary market actually does ruin a games economy and hurts a companies bottom line.

Tentonhammer has a new article by Niborea entitled "A journey's Lesson". In her article, Niborea gives several great examples that illustrate how the journey to your destination is often just as filled with wonder as the destination. Hopefully people playing Vanguard at release will realize that and slow down a bit. Niborea has also put up some new class art in the rogue section. Take a look!
