Exciting weekend, even more exciting week ahead

We have some fairly big news to announce this morning. Its been tough to keep a lid on things for the past month or so while everything got worked out but we're finally fully confirmed. A contingent of the Vanguard Spheres staff will be converging on Sigil headquarters Wednesday, Oct 26th! Aredhel, Cobalt Katze, Melchizedek and I will be making the journey to CA armed with laptops, cameras and lots of questions to ask the Sigil team but we need your help! We'd like to know what YOU want to know so we can see if the Sigil team can fill us in on it. Post your questions here and we'll do our best to get them answered.

I'd also like to welcome Amoonsinas to the Vanguard Spheres team. Amoonsinas will be responsible for migrating the official FAQ to our FAQ section and setting up the Glossary/Encyclopedia section now that we have the software ironed out. We are still in need of a Class Manager for Offensive fighters, a Lore Manager, News Manager and a Senior Graphic Artist. If you are interested in any of these positions please contact me via private message here on the site.

Stratics has published an interview with Zack Karlsson, Director of Business Development at Sigil Games Online. In the interview Zack tells us about Sigils relationship with Microsoft, how it started and some of the most important things for small development houses to achieve before finding a publisher. Stratics also has two new additions to their fan art section and Kaeltyk has published part 2 of her fan fiction entitled "Path to the Unknown". Enjoy the story!

Tentonhammer has published another addition to their "Tale of two players" column by Martuk. In his article entitled "When Last Generation Meets Next Generation", Martuk, explains his experience with his first MMO and how it affected him. He hopes that people can learn to help each other more in the next generation of MMOs and discusses the latest generations tutorials which have eased the burden on the new player.

Finally Havelock of Silky Venom has put up an article about player vendors and the Vanguard ecomony. In the article Havelock supports Sigils stance on not having a central searchlist for items on vendors and goes on to support his stance quite soundly. Take a look.
