I'd like to extend a warm welcome from the staff here at Vanguard Spheres to the newest member of the Vanguard affiliated sites group, Vanguard Jeuxonline! Here's what Esmeagol, the Site Administrator for VJ, had to say about his site.

Word has also reached us that Tom King, best known for his wonderful art and user interfaces in EQ, has left Sigil to attend to personal issues. Tom was working as an outside contractor for Sigil and unfortunately given Sigil's need for him to be local and his personal need to attend to his family not coinciding, they sadly had to part ways. We here at VS would like to extend our warm wishes to Tom and hope that we'll still see some of his interface work for Vanguard after it goes live.

In related news, Tom King has also put up a post on his website about the acquisition of the EQinterface site by IGE. Tom has in the past been very clear that he does not want his artwork connected to a commercial site especially one that may be running IGE ads at some point. Finally it seems Lady Sirse, formerly of Silky Venom, has moved to the Vanguard Tentonhammer website to be their News Manager. Congratulation to Lady Sirse, we look forward to seeing your articles on your new home.
