More Fanguard reports

Havelock, the newly promoted News Manager of Silky Venom is on a posting rampage. Part IV of his Fanguard series has just been published. The most interesting piece of new information from the article is that sailing will use a wind system that makes getting from point A to B a little more challenging than most other games with boating systems. Glip was also quoted as saying the following:

Personally I think thats a great quote and something as a GM of a raiding guild I am a big fan of. Far too often subpar people ride the coat tails of the skilled to success in MMORPGs. It will be nice to know that success in Vanguard is going to require at least some degree of skill instead of just a boatload of time spent.

Fricka one of the forum administrators over at The Safehouse also posted an account of her experiences at Fanguard. Her article complete with pictures from her mobile blog confirms some details mentioned by the other reports and provides a few new ones of her own. Take a look.

Lastly Jtoast of the Druids Grove had a chance to interview Darrin McPherson about the Druid classes role in Telon. In the interview Darrin reveals that druids will not be subject to being less powerful indoors as opposed to out in nature where they traditionally draw their power from. This should make long time druids happy as frequently they felt underpowered deep in the depths of a dungeon.
