Many things have happened in 2005, good and bad. Raya takes a break from the good and the bad and shows us the comings and goings at Vanguard. From the announcement of new GM's to the untimely death of Keith Parkinson, we have all come away from this year a little more knowledgable. Ten Ton Hammer's Vanguard Year in Review - Part 2 shows us the rest of the up's and downs of the last year.

We lower our helmets and say goodbye to another affiliate site today. XVanguard has posted on their webpage that they will be taking down the site in the upcoming week.

Bah rather then starting a new new year theard to ask if everyone had a safe fun new years and what that entailed I do it here.
So my girlfriend had to work I pretty much just stayed up playing sims 2 until she got off at 12:30 a.m.

That's terrible! New Years is just another day here, we spent the new year playing World of Warcraft with our friends.
If your girlfriend isn't working tonight, why not take her out on the town or even just have a little romantic getaway tonight? There's never a better time to do it. Start off the new year in a beautiful way. I know she'll appreciate you even more for the thought alone.

I had a lovely time!

Passed out (no, I don't drink. Just flat whooped!) at about 11pm, leaving my toon ingame /afk. Well....hubby woke me up at 12 (I'm guessing) with sparkling cider and 2 crystal glasses. I drank some and promptly fell back asleep. I kinda woke up when he came back in, but not really. Woke up at 8ish this morning and went to church.

Exciting life, eh? hehe

Looking for a slightly less eventful (in some ways) year, so start it off right, whether or not you were up at midnight hugging and stuff!

New Years is another Day must be an age thing. Another day waiting for Vanguards release Been playing WOW for the first time to pass the time away, games not bad questing pretty good not much of a death penalty find it easy to level in WOW. Alot of server crowding your quequed out most of the time and thats even with new servers being listed. Glad i am just passing time away with it, otherwise i would drop it like a hot potato due to this. Nothing worse than sitting around fo 30 min to get in game.

The server queues havent been a problem up until a month or so ago. At that point for whatever reason the queues started showing up and getting really heavy. Im hoping they get a solution to that soon as we've started to see queues of 500+ on Medivh now where previously we had none.

The Queue is decent in Whisperwind, till about 8:30pm my time. At that time, all the people start to come on from everywhere, and i've seen queue's up to 350.. but usually I try and log in about the time I get home (If i'm playing that night) and kind of sit around and talk with the guildies until the raid starts.

I quite enjoy WoW. I'm not much of a fan of a death penalty. I'd never get past lvl 35 if that happened *smiles*

I'm great at dying though!

Nah not really I I missed her of couse as I always do, but like fritz said to me new years is mostily just another day. We ended up going to the local torist trap and had a nice dinner the next night, but that was more out of wanting do soething special for her.
