Resolution Idea.
I am not exactly sure where I should be posting this sort of information, so I have decided to post the resolution here as this thread pertains to it. Sticky node harvesting and /autotraget As per my last post you will notice if you try to reproduce what I have done with harvesting the /autotarget keyword will reselect and stick to the last node harvested, hence if you harvest a "Node of Tin" and you set of /autotarget "Node of Tin" again it will stick to "Remains of Node of Tin" until it decays. Resolution to this problem occuring would be that nodes spawn in the world as they do now ... - "Node of Tin" but once harvested the name will reversed, - "Remains of a Tin Node" (Rather than "Remains of Node of Tin" which is not the best way to describe it) Anyway, with this change, using /autotarget "Node of Tin" will no longer get caught on the last havest node "Remains of a Tin Node" Take Care, Shadowsniper ![]() |

Re: Possible Bug with Arid Trees
Easier targeting....in the keyboard setup there is a line called "Target Node" will target any node. I mapped it to the Numlock + key and as i run around I keep tapping that key and I can find nodes of any resource a mile away.

Re: Possible Bug with Arid Trees
Aye,
Under setting ---> Control key bindings Targetnextnode ---> set mine to N Targetnextcorpse ----> set mine to D (For next dead item /chuckle) Yes, but that is not what we are effectively talking about here, we are talking about being able to run around and target a specific node be in within the 270 degree peripheral view 135 degree to the left and 135 degree to the right of your frontal viewpoint. Tagretnextnode will just target anything and if you go past the node you are specifically looking for you need to cycle every other node in the area to get back to it. I mention targetnextcorpse binding here also for ease of adventuring when killing several mobs on the same spot you can use D to cycle through them quickly to loot if you have something like your = key setup with a macro such as /lootall I have mine = setup with two commands. /endharvest & /lootall as when you get higher in skill and harvest lower tier nodes you will find you hit the 27 units per node limit after just a few harvesting swipes, hence = will effectively for me end the harvesting and loot the node and in the case of adventuring it will pretty much just loot the body Take Care, Shadowsniper |

Re: Possible Bug with Arid Trees
If TargetNextNode works, one would think that TargetPreviousNode would work as well. Unless, if you mistakenedly go past the node you want, you hit Escape and the process again from scratch.
But if TargetPreviousNode would work, then you could bind it to Shift-N and make it easier for you if you tend to speed past the nodes you want. |

Re: Possible Bug with Arid Trees
I must agree that Arrid trees should be looked into. I have been in some harvesting groups on test server and have seen everything else more then a few times but no rare tree's.
