Foundation - Recruiting on Florendyl

Greetings!

With all of the rumors floating around about the future of Vanguard, we of Foundation wanted to reach out to those who are looking for a stable group of folks looking to secure a healthy community here on Florendyl.

About us: First and foremost we are a group of adult friends. We are not merely focused on any single sphere we have a vested interest in all three and have high level members in all three, so Crafters adventurers and Diplomats alike all have a place in Foundation. Additionally we will be pursuing the end game raiding experience Vanguard has to offer, without sacrificing the fun times in getting there. Many of us have been friends since before EQ2, almost all of us have experience raiding since EQ1 and many of us have an extensive history with leading them. We’ve reorganized now for Vanguard and developed a well thought out leadership structure highly focused on a solid Foundation of close friendships. We operate under the guidance of a council of five with set terms of service, allowing us to not only avoid an inactive or stagnant leadership, but also steering clear of the dictatorship that is often commonplace. This structure allows for a very flexible administration that best represents the guilds current needs and goals. Our leadership structure allows for everyone to take interest in leadership and possibly even participate in the council if they so desire.

Resource wise we offer a very functional set of forums, a private wiki where many can compile articles relating to Quest guides, Harvesting hot spots, Encounter strategies, crafting pointers and the like. We maintain an active Ventrillo server where you’ll be able to meet many of our members. We generally span across the US time wise, Leaning towards West Coast. We try to run weekly questing harvesting or crafting events with a Major Guild Event boasting games and prizes (including boats and rare housing items) each and every month!

Thanks to our Members and Council we were able to complete another Guild Wide Event. Turn out was awesome as was member particpation. In the end, it's your particpation that makes these events worth while.

Basic Agenda was:

Induction of recruits that have met our requirements to become full members
Council Seats 1 and 2 were filled by Jagriel and Precipus
and what I consider the most important part. The Town Hall Meeting where members expressed concerns, new ideas and concepts etc.

As usual we wraped up the event with a contest. This contest we broke our members into 4 groups and each group was tasked with harvesting 20 stacks (20 of 20) of each T1 items. Lumber, Mining, Quaring, Skinning, and Reaping. The winning group then had to individually go out and harvest same materials but in T2.
