The Black Market, since its inception in 2005, has emphasized the value of gaming friendships. We make a point to remain fairly small, to make sure members all know each other, and work nicely together. We strive to build strong lasting friendships both in and out of game, though the use of our forums and TeamSpeak voice communication software.

In Vanguard, as The Black Market, our primary goal is to provide items at fair prices to our fellow Vanguard players. This includes crafted items, as well as rare drops obtained via adventuring or diplomacy!

To be a sucessful market-based guild, we need members from all of the spheres! Each sphere contributes to the overall goals of TBM, as well as aids the other spheres.

All spheres are be responsible for: Contributing Financially towards Guild Assets and Helping Obtain Resources and Items.

Here are the primary goals/roles of each specific sphere:
Diplomacy
- To activate the civic diplomacy buffs, so that our crafters and adventures will benefit.
- To obtain recipies and items obtainable through diplomacy.
- Possible RP roles as 'Diplomats' or 'Public Relation Reps'.

Adventuring
- Obtain rare items and drops through adventuring to sell for guild profit. [Dungeons + Raids for Elites, Named. etc...]
- To protect the crafters and diplomats from PVP attacks.

Crafting
- Create items of all types to sell for guild profit.
- Provide weapons, armor, etc for the guild members. [Either donated, discounted, or in exchange for materials.]
- To provide the building materials for guild assets.

We strive to be a valuable asset to the server, by providing our services to those in need.
We stand to be well respected by Order and Shadow alike, and therefore we try to maintain a neutral PVP stance. However, we will not hesitate to defend ourselves, or eliminate any threats.
