Mercenaries, Artists and Skilled Craftsmen, commonly known as MASC, is a guild of friends. They operate outside the reaches of any organized government in Telon, instead accepting all races, classes and skills, governing themselves by their own standards. MASC is not a group of thugs. Inspired by honor and respect, MASC members aspire to become experts of warfare, skilled in the artistry of diplomacy, and masters of all crafts.

MASC began as a group of friends years ago on the Bloodfin server of Star Wars Galaxies and has since grown to other games. MASC quickly grew a strong influence in the world of Vanguard and has established a branch there shortly following launch. With a strong backbone of experienced members and well defined organization, MASC is a core gaming guild poised to be a strong influence on the Hilsbury server of Vanguard for years to come.

MASC is democratic in nature. Leaders and officers are frequently voted on and elected by the other members of the guild. This allows new members the opportunity to make changes that they feel will better MASC’s situation in Vanguard and remove the risk of activities becoming stale due to burned out leadership.

New members are voted in democratically also, needing the support of multiple members to become a full member. Because of this, we warn all applicants that abnormal amounts of foul language, sexism, racism, or lude behavior will not be tolerated. The MASC title is very important to us and we expect all members wearing that tag to act in ways that maintain the honor and integrity that we believe MASC stands for at all times.
