Drache Omen recruiting - Florendyl

It was late evening when I found myself once again back in the human town of Khal. My trade often takes me places far from home, but I despised having found myself in human lands, just as much as I am sure they secretly hated me being there.

Carefully I made my way into the local pub, sitting myself down and tuning my lute while I waited for service. My fingers easily plucked the strings, creating a floating melody with which to tell my tales. A felt a smirk form on my face as one of the town children moved toward the sound of my music.

Slowly, my music wove it's magic, and after awhile the full attention of the bar patrons was on me, leaving the bar silent. It was now time for me to begin.

I eased into my tales, slowly introducing the band of adventurers, and smiled inwardly as the look of envy formed on many of the faces in the room. I told of epic battles, and unspeakable monters, and was rewarded as those looks turning into awe, then horror. Finally, I ended my stories with great riches, and watched as all eyes in the room glistened with greed. Oh, how the human soul was so easily swayed.

I could feel the disappointment as I paid my tab, and left the bar. They always wanted more, but my task was accomplished, so I booked passage to Thestra, for my next stop was Bordiners Cleft to visit the Dwarves.

I let a slow smile form, after all, now the town of Khal knew of Drache Omen, and maybe, just maybe the tales I told would reach a few who felt the need to seek out the life of adventure that only the dragons of Telon speak of...
