Lords of the Tavern - New Guild on Hilsbury

A few things about what I'm hoping LoT will be...........HA - it rhymed!!! Off to a good start already

Fun & Casual is what I'll be shooting for. There will probably be some raiding near the later parts, but will never be a requirement. A good group of people can normally make or break a game for me, but I'm not a fan of joining huge guilds that have been around since the beginning of time. If this happens to grow into 100+ members, so be it.....but I won't have one bit of a problem if it only has 15 or 20.

I've had some experience running some clubs/guilds, so I'm not coming into this blindly. I'm an officer in Knights of the Dragon in EQ2.Befallen (whom I'm hoping a few members will join this guild when they purchase the game) and also the President of a car club/battle club that has been around a couple years in XBOX Live gaming. KoD is one of the huge guilds I normally don't wanna join, but wow - they've been great. The leaders are wonderful, and I'm proud to say I'm apart of them. I even asked said leaders to join me in VG, and they accepted.

As you can tell, I'm not much of a writer, so I'll stop the borefest and just copy/paste some stuff from the forum I have setup for the guild.

Requirements for Acceptance into the Guild

I know it's "Lords" but we accept male & female......I know quite a few women that'll drink quite a few men under the table, and I have no objections whatsoever to accepting both sexes, or neutral if that suits your fancy as well

1. Must speak/type English decently enough to be understandable

2. Living in the US is not a requirement, we will happily take any overseas applicants

3. We do not necessarily require Ventrilo, but it is a plus. You can get the free software at www.ventrilo.com

4. At least 18 years of age. The reason for this age requirement is simple, we don't want to worry about offending anyone by talking about goofy stuff. If you're easily offended and can't take a joke, this is not the guild for you We will overlook this requirement for some fun loving, cool youngsters though. I've come across some mature 16yr olds, so you're welcome as long as you fit the rest of the bill.

5. FUN!!! We take our games pretty seriously sometimes, but overall - it's a game......enjoy it.

6. Havn't thought of 6 yet, so I'll let you know

and now a quick mean statement - WE DO NOT ALLOW GUILD HOPPERS NOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALTERNATE CHARACTERS IN OTHER GUILDS. IF YOU'RE APART OF ANOTHER GUILD, AND WE FIND OUT - WE'LL BOOT FIRST, AND ASK QUESTIONS LATER.
