Guild Tabard or other things?

Is there going to be guild Tabards, Guild armour or other such things available for guilds in the future?

well the only place ive ever seen anything like that is WOW, in UO guild would make uinforms by die items.

Actually, the cool tabard idea definately predates WoW (and was done better) it was in DAoC.


I too mentioned I hope someday we see Guild cloaks (rather you get emblem on existing cloaks like was optional in DAoC) as well as the great feature of putting emblem on shields via some NPC.

Later, homes with banners/flags (think frontier forts in DAoC ) would be great.

I HOPE they add the shield thing (and cloaks) at least.

that dose sound great. i would also like to see people able to put guild banners ect... on there home/guild houses or even custom banner for tavern's and stores.

I think it'd be cool to have the guild uniforms to wear around town. I'm not a big fan of the tabard because it looks so different (in wow) depending on if you're wearing pants or a robe.

Sigurd, I love the idea of a cloak with the guild emblem on it. It would look far better than a Tabard, which I didn't really like in WOW and never wore. A flag outside your home would also look very well. I used to love the signs I created for my shops in SWG. It took a lot of messing around with colour codes to get it looking just right, but it was worth it.

Let's see if anyone can dig up some old SSs from DAoC of guild cloaks etc.

Good stuff - I think I may also have one of our guild (Maelstrom) while 'sponsoring' one of the frontier forts - makes the NPC guards all wear our 'colors' and fly our pennant on the towers.
