Thorns - Active Mature Guild - Looking for the older crowd.

Thorns is a new Vanguard: Saga of Heroes guild forming at launch on Jan 30th. Anyone looking for a mature environment to explore the world of Telon in is encouraged to post an application on our website. If you are an older gamer looking for an environment to make friends and be able to relate with other gamers in Thorns could be the place for you. People from all walks of life are welcome!

General Information

The purpose of Thorns is to create a close-knit group of friends or community whose ties ideally go beyond that of the particular game we are playing. Thorns hopes to provide a community where older, more mature, gamers can feel like they can relate to and understand each other, which is something that can be difficult to find in environment populated with so many younger players. This is not to say younger players are not welcome in Thorns, certainly there are young people out there who desire a different environment than most guilds provide and they are more than welcome in Thorns, as well as younger family members of guild members.

Guild Information

Thorns intends on being an active guild for players who wish to explore as much of the world of Telon as possible. Many guilds like to stress that they are “end-game” meaning that they intend to be active in clearing the highest level content in the game, while this is certainly true for Thorns as well, our primary focus for the first few months will be to familiarize ourselves with the game a develop a strong sense of community within our guild.

Guild structure and loot systems will be decided at a later date where all members of Thorns can actively participate in their construction.

Recruitment

As Vanguard as not yet launched Thorns is not accepting people based on class or level. To create the strongest possible community Thorns will not mass recruit or invite anyone simply because they have a desire to be in the guild. I personally interview all interested people either though our website forums, ventrilo, email or in game on Beta Server 1. Thorns welcomes people from all walks of life who are interested in being part of our community. Discrimination based on sex, race, religion or sexual orientation will not be tolerated in Thorns.
