Flavor: High-End Raiding Guild

Server: We will be joining a role play preferred server if one is flagged for such, otherwise a normal server. No PvP server, sorry. This is not a role playing guild however, if you happen to be one of the rare role player/raider hybrid then you are welcome to apply. I just simply find I prefer RP servers for fun events and a more mature setting.

As a high end raiding guild, naturally raiding will be our primary focus. If you have any doubts that it will be your primary focus then this would not be the guild for you. If however you are foaming at the mouth to grind grind grind to be the first person to wield a Flaming Pickhammer of Fippy Darkpaw then by all means read through our website and decide if your a fit.

Guild System: The type and number of ranks will be determined via voting. However, no one will have a permanent rank until a good ways into the leveling phase of Vanguard, post-release, so that everyone has a good feel for who they think should fill each role and then they everyone will vote on them.

The guild will use a DKP system, the exact system will be voted on as well however I am limiting the vote options, so far the only options are both private bidding systems using either the "1-up" (or "1-more") rule or the "auction" systems (more information on these systems in our DKP portion of the site if you are unfamiliar with them) unless a member has a better proven DKP system than these. DKP will be given on a time basis (X amount per hour of raiding) as well as bonus DKP for other factors, some of which we will need to see the finished product before we decide on how DKP and bonus DKP will be structured. Most likely bonus DKP given for things like scouting contested mobs, defeating contested mobs, guild firsts (first few to max level, first of a class to max level), and server firsts etc.

Requirements

I. At least 18 years of age

II. Must have headset/microphone

III. Must meet the class requirements listed in the Application section of the forum

IV. Must have veteran experience with at least one other MMORPG

V. Must be able to keep 75% raid attendance. Raiding times will be determined during the leveling phase of Vanguard as we see when most of our members are online. It will most likely be Prime time though (7-11PM EST, 4-8PM PST)

While I am used to high end raiding in EQ2 I am from the other side of the world (and 15hours out of yor time zone). This often means that I cannot achieve the high attendance at peak play times.

This makes it difficult to find the right type of raid guild. How stringent are you planing on making the attendance.

We don't have a minimum hours played rule, but we do have a raid attendance requirement, which is 75% at this time. This means you will need to raid 5 days a week until the % is lowered. Raid times will most likely be 7:00/7:30PM through 11:00/12:00PM EST.

Guess that rules me out as I work in the times that you plan to raid. Would only make weekends.
